EGU General Assembly: ChEESE poster

ChEESE researchers from the Barcelona Supercomputing Center Arnau Folch and Marisol Monterrubio Velasco will deliver separate talks and a poster presentation at the EGU General Assembly that will take place in Vienna, Austria on April 7-12, 2019.

Arnau´s talk, titled "FALLD-8.0: A computational model for atmospheric transport and deposition of tephra, dust, SO2, and radionuclides", will be in Room D2 on Monday, April 8 at 12:15 pm - 12:30 pm.

He will also present a poster titled "A Center of Excellence for Exascale in Solid Earth in Hall X1 on Friday, April 12 at 8:30 am - 10:15 am.

Marisol´s first talk, titled "Towards Urgent Earthquake 3D Simulations for Disaster Resilience", will take place in Room D2 on Monday, April 8 at 4:30 pm - 4:45 pm.  

Her second talk is titled "Precursors of high magnitude events based on multifractal properties of elapsed time and distance between consecutive earthquakes. An application to New Zealand, years 2000-2018". It will take place in Room M1 on Friday, April 12 at 12:00 pm - 12:15 pm. 

Alice-Agnes Gabriel, from  Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, also presents "The Great 2004 Sumatra-Andaman Earthquake: Insights from dynamic rupture modeling" on April 8, 2019 at 9:15-9:30.
